When my old gallery/product supplier, "The Untapped Source", emailed to tell me they were going out of business last week I was not a happy camper. I had uploaded well over 300 files during the past couple of years, with keywords, descriptions, categories ....
I had previous experience with Fine Art America when I had a photo printed one time - they had done an excellent, high quality job, but they didn't offer a gallery solution for artists at the time.
I was delighted to find that they do now!
So far, so good ... uploading, keywords, etc is taking some time, and getting used to the nuances of the new system, but it looks like it's going to be a good fit.
All I really wanted was high quality prints, frames and canvas wraps like my old provider. This site offers everything from greeting cards to shower curtains!
At first I thought this a bit crass - beneath me as a "fine artist" LOL - but I decided to give this expanded product line a try for a while ... if it is popular, I'll keep it ... if not, bye bye.
